Perfume is the raw material to prepare essence, which is broadly used the industrial field of food, daily chemical products, cigarette, disinfectant of health care and add fragrant product, etc. At present, the output value of the spices industry in the whole world increases progressively at the speed of 1% every year.

香料是调配香精的原料，香精广泛用于食品、日用化工产品、香烟、医疗卫生的消毒剂和其他加香产品等工业领域。目前，全世界香料产业的产值以每年1%的速度递增。

Among the fragrant plants of 23 varieties which the project will develop, only spearmint and lavender have a certain scale of planting, other fragrant plant market has great development potentiality. And all the refined oil varieties of this project are production blank at home, and it can offer 8 products accord with international standard to domestic downstream product enterprises, and to reduce the reliance on the imported products. After this project goes into operation, it will become a new economic growth point of plantation in Xinjiang, widen the trade investment field of our country and drive the development and export of fragrant plant serial products in our country.

项目将要发展的23个品种的芳香植物中，国内只有留兰香和薰衣草有一定的种植规模，其它芳香植物市场发展潜力很大。并且该项目所产精油品种均为国内生产空白，可向国内下游产品企业提供符合国际标准的8种产品，减少对进口产品的依赖。该项目投产后，将会成为新疆种植业一个新的经济增长点，拓宽我国行业投资领域，带动我国芳香植物系列产品发展和出口。

The forming and development of the fragrant plant industry has important realistic significance realizing optimization of the agricultural structure of Xinjiang and the industrialization of characteristic agricultural resource, improving the agricultural comprehensive benefit and increasing peasant's income and promoting the development off export of foreign trade and tourist industry in Xinjiang.
