Project Description

The project is located in Toutunhe district of Urumqi City, which is the important node of the New Eurasian Continental Bridge. In May 2008, the "Urumqi Railway International Logistics Park Development Plan" was approved by the Urumqi municipal government. According to the plan, the planning area of the project is about 60 square kilometers and the total investment is 3 billion yuan. The project will be constructed in three phases which began in the year of 2008; by the year of 2010,we will finished the infrastructure and other assistant establishments to form the four main functional areas which can establish dominant position on railway ports in Xinjiang; by the year of 2015，we will try our best to built the Park to socializational and large-scale logistics base of production materials with full equipment, perfect function, appropriate scale, rational layout. Thus it can improve the core status of Urumqi along the Eurasian continental bridge, and build Urumqi to be the fast, efficient and safe railway logistics core area of China’s opening to the west.
该项目位于乌鲁木齐市头屯河区，头屯河区地处新亚欧大陆桥的重要节点。2008年5月，乌鲁木齐市委、市政府通过了《乌鲁木齐铁路国际物流园发展规划》，项目规划面积约60平方公里，总投资拟30亿元人民币，分为三期进行。按照规划和开发的要求，2008年启动，2010年完成铁路物流园一期基础设施及配套项目建设，建成四大主体功能区，在新疆铁路口岸竞争格局中居于主导地位，力争2015年把铁路国际物流园建成设施齐全、功能完备、规模适度、布局合理的社会化、规模化的生产资料物流集聚区，全面提升乌鲁木齐在亚欧大陆桥上核心枢纽地位，使乌鲁木齐成为中国新疆向西开放的快捷、高效、安全的铁路物流核心区。
