项目描述：高吸水性树脂是一种具有松散网络结构的低交联度的亲水性高分子化合物，既不溶于水，也难溶于有机溶剂，具有吸收自身重量几百倍甚至上千倍水的能力，且吸水速率快，保水性能好，即使加压也难把水分离出来。因此，高吸水性树脂在日用、石油、化工、轻工、建筑、医药卫生和农业等领域有着广泛的应用。
市场预测：2003年世界高吸水性树脂生产能力近130万吨。目前世界高吸水性树脂最大的生产厂商是BASF公司。2003年世界高吸水性树脂总消费量达100万吨以上。美国是世界高吸水性树脂最大的消费国家，2003年消费量约为41万吨，占世界总消费量的41%。2010年世界高吸水性树脂需求将达到135万吨。
Superabsorbent polymer is kind of hydrophile macromolecule compound with loose net structure and low Crosslinking degree, which can not dissolve in water and organic impregnant, and can absorb water hundreds of even thousands of its weight. Because of the speed of absorbing water, the bility of keeping water and not being separated even under pressure Superabsorbent polymer is widely used in everday lives, petroleum, petrochemistry, light industry, architecture, medicine, sanitation and agriculture.
Market forecast: the throughput of superabsorbent polymer throughout the world on the year of 2003 is close to 1.3 million tons. The largest producer is BASF company. The consumption of superabsorbent polymer throughout the world on the year of 2003 is above one million tons. The U.S.A. is the largest consumption country, which consumed 410,000 tons, taking up 41% of the world, and will reach 1.35 million tons on the year of 2010.
